The Qatari Committee of Heads of Arab Local Authorities launched an emergency room to confront crime and violence in January 2024.
As a comprehensive body, it takes the initiative to develop and strengthen policies to confront crime and violence, and as an organizing body for field activity and mass action in the face of the scourge.
The Emergency Chamber works in front of both: the Knesset and the government, the local authorities, civil society and the media.
The Emergency Headquarters for Combating Crime and Violence was established by the National Committee for Heads of Arab Local Authorities in January 2024, as a leading body for policy promotion, research and knowledge, community organization, and public activity to combat crime and violence.
The Emergency Headquarters operates in several arenas to promote activities to eradicate crime and violence, including the government and the Knesset, local authorities, civil society, and the media.
